Izzy has participated in the Tiger Branch savings program since 2nd grade and hasn’t missed a single opportunity to save. She has made a deposit every one of the 160 times the Tiger Branch has been open during that time—an incredible accomplishment!
NBC is grateful for this partnership with Platte Valley Bank, which gives students the opportunity to learn strong saving habits early on.
Way to go, Izzy! Keep up the great work! 💰

During our Natural Disasters unit in reading, NBC 5th grade students explored tornadoes and learned how to stay safe when one strikes. Each student created a starter Emergency Preparedness Kit, with all supplies generously funded by an NBC Foundation Grant. 🌪️🧰

The NBC freshmen took a trip to the University of Nebraska–Omaha!
They spent the day exploring campus, learning all about student life, and getting a feel for what college is really like. From walking through beautiful grounds to asking great questions on the tour, it was a fun and eye-opening experience. Of course, no visit is complete without lunch in the cafeteria—which was a big hit! 🎓🍽️
A great day of learning, laughter, and a possible glimpse into the future!

Come check out this frightfully wonderful student production and support our incredibly talented cast and crew. You won’t want to miss the ghost-with-the-most and all the spooky fun!

We’re throwing it back to 1991, when Grease was the word! 💃🕺
That spring, a talented cast and crew brought Rydell High to life with an unforgettable production—complete with the Pink Ladies, plenty of hand jive, and even a “Beauty School Dropout” moment.
Paula Samuelson shined as Sandy, and Don Dodge brought the cool as Danny, leader of the T-Birds.

Students analyzed mystery scenes, identified animal tracks, and worked together to piece together what really happened. 🐾 It was an exciting, hands-on experience that brought science and teamwork to life!
Way to go, investigators!

Students explored real-world math by predicting the probability of how many prizes at each level middle schoolers would win while playing the games. Learning + fun = a winning combination! 🎯
