NBC Sophomores took on Wayne State College!
After visiting a community college as freshmen, this trip gave students a chance to experience the differences at a state college firsthand. They learned all about degree programs, admissions, financial aid, and how to pay for college—big steps toward their futures!
The day included a full campus tour, an awesome show in the planetarium , and lunch on campus. Even better—we ran into a few NBC grads in the cafeteria!

Due to the forecasted weather, the Tiger/Cadet Track Invitational scheduled for Tuesday (4/7/2026) has been postponed at this time. We are currently exploring options and will share an update later today regarding about a possible reschedule.
The NBC preschool classes have kicked off their end-of-year Letter Countdown, where each day brings a fun activity to match the next letter of the alphabet!
Last week was the letter D, and they celebrated with Donuts with Dudes 🍩💙 Students were able to bring their favorite “dude” to school to enjoy some special time together, and it was such a sweet way to start the day!

Yesterday at Central Community College in Columbus, NBC 8th graders explored future careers and learned what degrees are needed for different paths. They enjoyed a campus tour, heard from the Ag department about drones and the impact of agriculture, and wrapped up the day with college trivia and lunch in the cafeteria. A great day of learning and exploration!

Our 2nd-5th grade students put their artistry to the test in our NBCE Annual Art show this year! Students, Staff, and Parents were able to view the artwork and vote for their favorite. The winners of that vote won the "People's Choice Award". A super secret guest judge also nominated students for a "Critic's Choice Award". Congrats NBC Elementary Students!
