The NBC 2nd graders visited Morrill Hall on a field trip. In connection on their upcoming unit about fossils and paleontologists, students had hands-on experiences. It was a day full of discovery! A special thank you to the NBC Foundation for funding for this field trip!
3rd Grade October Book Club
The NBC 6th and 7th graders had a great time at the Sportsmanship Pep Rally at Pinnacle Bank Arena today! They listened to a variety of speakers on leadership, sportsmanship and being a good teammate.
Seniors in Stats found the circumference, weight and the number of seeds small pumpkins contain. Then they determined if there is a relationship between these variables by calculating the correlation.

NBC STEAM club had their October challenge today. Students and staff made Confection Confiscation Contraptions that could take candy from a bowl to a landing zone! Contraptions were judged on style and amount of candy successfully taken. Winner will be announced at a later date!
Hyvee KidsFit Participation at the Elementary
Congratulations to Mrs. Eberspacher's TAP for winning the blanket drive TAP war.
They collected 42 items. Mr. Meyer was a very close second with 39 items!
In total, NHS collected 256 blankets/sheets/towels for the Furever Home rescue shelter!
