At yesterday's Nebraska Statewide Arboretum Awards Ceremony, NBC's Bob Feurer and the Franklin-Cotterell Greens Arboretum were winners of the Affiliate Excellence Award.
Bob has worked tirelessly for many years to establish the Franklin-Cotterell Greens Arboretum at North Bend Central High School, which features more than 1,000 plants and trees on the 22-acre site.
Congratulations Bob and all who have worked so hard over the years to provide our community with such an amazing outdoor space.

The NBC 2nd graders visited Morrill Hall on a field trip. In connection on their upcoming unit about fossils and paleontologists, students had hands-on experiences. It was a day full of discovery! A special thank you to the NBC Foundation for funding for this field trip!

NBC STEAM club had their October challenge today. Students and staff made Confection Confiscation Contraptions that could take candy from a bowl to a landing zone! Contraptions were judged on style and amount of candy successfully taken. Winner will be announced at a later date!
