Today’s Activities: Unified Bowling at WestPoint.
NBCE Book Fair
1. Tap Band Schedule: Today: Clarinet; Wed: Alto Sax/French Horn; Thurs: Low Woodwinds/Low Brass; Fri: Percussion
2. There is a meeting for all boys’ basketball players after school today in Coach Baehr’s room.
3. Athletic Banquet will be Thursday, November 8th at 6:30. Please sign up in the office how many will be attending by today.
4. NBC Blood Drive is tomorrow, November 7th from 8:30-2:30 at the NBC old gym. If you are 16 or 17 years old,
permission forms are needed and available in the front office. You may also sign up for a time in the front office.
5. Find a good book at the NBE Book Fair. It continues through today from 3:30 - 7:00. There are many good titles available for
middle and high school students. The newest Wimpy Kid title was released nationally last week and we have it at our book fair.
6. Students interested in careers in Ag, Food & Natural Resources, Skilled & Technical Sciences, Transportation & Logistics, or
Business/Finance & Administration: NBC is hosting Luke Mueller from Cargill Inc. to speak about their scholarship and internship
programs. Today at 1pm in the Tiger Den. Interested? Get a pass from your teacher, Mrs. Gaughen, or Mrs. Wright.
7. Speech Team meeting at 3:30 today for anyone interested in joining this year’s team. Questions- see Mr. Lafleur.
8. Please remove all Fall Sport locker decorations by Friday.
9. Any student attending Newsies on Friday night at Midland, we will be leaving from the high school at 6:35 p.m.
10. This week is HOSA Health Professionals Week: Today - Guess the number of cotton balls in the jar. Wednesday - Wear a HOSA
t-shirt or dress as your future Health Career Occupation. Thursday - Information about the different HOSA activities. Friday - TAP
WAR - Brain Teasers - the TAP to complete the activity first gets a prize.
11. HOSA members - sign up for the Saturday, November 17th informational workshop and for the Thursday, November 29th HOSA
Experience at Northeast Community College. Cost is $10 for each activity.
12. HOSA members - We are ordering scrubs - please stop by Mrs. Treat’s room to get yours ordered. Cost is $15.
13. Attention High School Volleyball uniform check in will be Thursday RIGHT after school---please bring them
to the area by the concession stand and big tiger.
