Today’s Lunch: Buttercrust Sandwich and Tomato Soup Tomorrow’s Breakfast: Pretzel with Cheese

Today’s Activities: 9th Girls and Boys Basketball @ David City at 6:00

JH Girls Basketball @ Neumann at 4:30

  1. Musical Auditions will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Friday at 7:00 a.m.

  2. Tap Schedule: Thursday: Trumpet; Friday: Alto Sax/Horn/Low Brass/Low Woodwinds

  3. There will be a short Science Club meeting at 7:45 on Friday morning in Ms. Redel’s room.

  4. Speech Practice this week: Thursday- Duet, Humorous Prose, Serious Prose, Fridays- Team meeting 3:30 in Mr. Lafleur’s room for Saturday’s meet. Communicate with Mr. Lafleur if unable to attend event practice days.

5. A PAID job opportunity is available for students interested in assisting a local resident with using an iPad to contact family and watch programs, and to run errands to purchase snacks and other items after school 1-2 times per week as needed. Interested students should contact Mrs. Wright for a job application and screening questions. This is a great opportunity for ANYONE interested in the health sciences field or human services industries! You must be grades 8-12. See Mrs. Wright in room A17 ASAP!

  1. If you are missing a watch, please come to the office.

  2. If you have any unused eye glasses, please bring them to the office to be donated to the Lions Club.

  3. Optimist club spring and summer ball signups on Sunday, January 21 from 1-3 at the Platte Valley Bank Conference Center. If you unable to attend, forms will be available next week in both schools as well as Platte Valley Bank.

  4. If interested in a pitching and hitting camp for softball, please come to the office to receive the information.

10. Congratulations to all who competed in the NBC Geography Bee. Rebekah Voss was the champion and will get the opportunity to compete for a berth in the state competition in April.
