Today’s Activities: EHC Speech @ Humphrey ~ Go Tigers!

1. Tap Band: Tuesday: None; Wednesday: District contest small groups/solos; Thursday: District contest small groups/solos Friday: District contest small groups/solos

2. HOSA members need to get registered for state by this Friday.

3. All Optimist Club Softball and Baseball forms are due no later than this Friday March 1. Scholarships available by contacting myself or Mr. Sterup.

  1. Varsity Golf - There will be a meeting in Mr. Ziettlow’s room at 3:35 on Tuesday(2/26) for those interested in joining the golf team this spring.

  2. There is a sign-up sheet outside the tech office in the library for any 8-11 grade student interested in trying out for cheer and dance. There will be an informational meeting on February 27th.

  3. Prom work night is scheduled for tonight from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Meet in the library.

  4. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 27th at 7:45 am in the library for anyone interested in trying out for Cheer or Dance team. If you cannot attend but wish to try out, please see Coach Schwanebeck.

  5. Congratulation to Shelby Dunn on being selected as a finalist for State FFA Office. She interviewed in Kearney this past weekend and will go through another round of interviews prior to State FFA Convention. The 2019-2020 team will be announced during the final session of Nebraska FFA Convention in Lincoln.

  6. The Village of Dodge is looking for part-time summer positions for Maintenance, Pool Manager, Assist Pool Manager and Lifeguard. Resume’s are due by February 28th to the Village Clerk Office in Dodge. Please see Mrs. Gaughen if you have any questions.

    1. Did you know? NBC is one of only THREE Class C Nebraska schools that offer a cooperative education program, in which students can earn credit for career field experiences like job shadows and internships? Boone Central and Sutton are the other two schools. Happy CTE Month!

    2. Did you know? Career & Technical Education allows any student to experience hands-on training in a number of career pathways. How many different CAREER CLUSTERS are there in which you can be trained here at NBC? Which career clusters are YOU interested in? Bring your answers to Mrs. Wright in Room A17 and get your prize for this, the last week of CTE Trivia! Happy CTE Month!
