Today’s Activities: JH Boys Basketball vs Arlington at 4:30

1. The streets are not slick yet! But, soon they migh be - so please SLOW down and be respectful of those around you when driving. We would not like to see any accident to happen to you or your vehicle.

2.Tap Schedule: Monday: Independent Study students; Tuesday: Jazz Band; Wednesday: Independent Study students; Thursday: Jazz Band; Friday: Percussion

3. One Act locker signs need to be removed by tomorrow.

4. 8th grade girls may check out for basketball after school on Wednesday Dec. 13. 7th grade girls may check out for basketball Friday after school. Both checkouts will be in Coach Richardson’s room.

5. Art Club Christmas Party is today at 6pm in the Art Room. We will be doing a number of activities that should be a lot of fun. Bring a friend, as well as some holiday treats to share.

  1. Congratulations to Colton Mitties, Michael Mensik, Connor Schlueter, Peyton Mitties, Hunter Johnston, Evan Balch and Coach Randy Dodge for winning the Class C Nebraska High School Championship Bowling Tournament yesterday in Lincoln. This is their 5th consecutive state championship!

  2. Softball has concession stand on Tuesday, December 12th. Please sign up in Mr. Nelson’s room. Shift 1 4:30-6:30 and Shift 2 6:30 to close (clean up)

  3. Seniors - please submit a quote for the yearbook to Ella by Friday, December 15th. If they are not school appropriate, you will have to come up with another idea.

  4. Spanish Club: please have your $3 dues to Hannah Mullally by Friday, December 15th. If you do not have your dues by then, you will not participate in any Spanish Club activities.

    1. Student Council and FFA members going to get the food for the Blessings Pantry, we will leave NBC at 5:00 p.m. today.

    2. Spirit Wear for the Stanton Games (Tues., Dec. 12) is Revenge of the NERDS! Wear your nerdiest outfits to cheer on the Tigers to two wins Tuesday night. Let’s get the student section rocking the pocket protectors, high water pants, suspenders, and nerdy glasses and have a fun night! See you Tuesday!

    3. Juniors: Prom theme proposals are due on Friday, Dec 15. You must have paid all fees before you can submit the proposal. This includes $20 work deposit AND other fees you may owe. Check with Mr. R Wright or the hanging file by Mrs. Gross-Rhode’s office to see if you owe more than the work deposit OR to pick up a Prom handbook with work nights and expectations if you were not at the Prom meeting on Dec 5.

    4. Post Prom will be having a sloppy joe meal for a fundraiser Tuesday evening at the game.

    5. Emily Allgood, Megan Ortmeier, Lauren Emanuel, and Abby Post report to Mr. Nelson’s room for TAP.
