Juniors and Seniors interested in a career in service, parts, or sales in agricultural or construction equipment, diesel or collision repair technology, heavy equipment, or precision ag (ag technology), see Mrs. Wright immediately. SIX different companies are offering college tuition coverage, scholarships, and internships for students and we’re touring them in the coming weeks! Join us to explore the exciting opportunities available to you to gain high wage, high skill, high demand employment before, during and after high school!

  1. NBC will host Conference Vball Thursday night- the conference has decided not to accept EHC or any other passes for tournaments. Please advise your parents

  2. Science Club Members: we need more parent volunteers to go to the Zoo next Thursday. We only have 1 right now. If we don’t get more chaperones, not all Science Club members will be able to attend. If your parent wants to chaperone, they will need to email Mrs. Schluter by Wednesday, October 16.

  3. 7th and 8th grade boys will check basketball gear out Monday after school in Mr. Richardson’s room after school. Practice starts Monday October 21st.

  2. Congratulations to the North Bend Land Judgers from Tuesday in Leigh. Top Placers were Dalton Blaha, 3rd; Hannah Murray, 4th; Peyton Mitties, 9th; Domomic Tank, 18th; Shyann Rolenc, 19th and Amy Murray, 21st out of 436 total competitors. Overall North Bend Received 15 ribbons out of 19 competing. All 5 teams earned team ribbons! Top 2 teams tied for 3rd out of 125 teams. State qualifiers are: Hannah Murray, Shyann Rolenc, Russell Raymond and Erica Stphenson as a team and Dalton Blaha and Peyton Mitties individually. Congrats!

Stop by the library in the morning some time in the next 7 days to let a librarian know if you still want it. After that, your name will be removed from the hold list. You can still get the book later when all holds have been filled.

Today’s Activities: Picture Retakes

  1. Due to unexpected kitchen maintenance, we will be having full salad bar with sandwiches today. This is for the middle school and high school building only.

  2. With the excessive rain we will be receiving throughout the week, the transportation department will be monitoring country roads. We may go to hard surfaces only for bus purposes. We will communicate this effectively so everyone will have appropriate communication.

  3. Greenhouse has flowers and vegetables still available. Days open: May 16th from 4pm - 7 pm , May 24th Noon - 7 pm , Close out Sale will be on May 31st & June 1st: 8 am - 4 pm.

  4. Driver’s Education will be held June 10-14 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sign-up and payment is due June 7th and forms can be picked up in the front office.

  5. There will be a YQCA training in the ag room on May 14th at 1:30 PM for anyone still needing it to show livestock this summer. You can to: yqca.learngrow.io to register. The cost is $3 and those funds go to the YQCA training group that are paid online when you register.

  6. NBC and the North Bend Community are hosting a blood drive on Thursday, May 16th from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm and the St Charles Parish Center. In the last few weeks we have shown what a community can do when it comes together, North Bend Strong

7. Anyone interested in participating in the D4LC:Explore Leadership conference July 8 & 9 in Aurora need to sign up with Mr. Mottl by today.

15. Sophomores who received a sheet from Mrs Gross-Rhode about money you earned during plant sales need to return your sheet

to Mrs. Gross-Rhode before you leave today. Money will be transferred to account you choose.
16. Students who plan on attending CHI camp in July need to get your essay and thank you letters to Mrs. Gross-Rhode by May 20

* Fire Precautions. Shredded paper, confetti, etc. should not be carried into the gymnasiums by your pep club and student body. The fire marshal has directed us not to permit materials of this type in the various sites. Please help us by telling your student body not to bring confetti, shredded paper, etc.

* Signs and Banners. Signs and banners that are not directed at the opposition and are not
derogatory in nature may be placed on walls behind the seating areas in the High Schools
ONLY. There will be no signs or banners allowed at the Devaney Sports Center or
Pinnacle Bank Arena. These signs or banners will not be permitted on walls or the stands near the playing floor. Signs,
banners, and school flags should not be carried around the floor. Signs that are not political, obscene, or in bad taste may be posted within the playing facility as long as the signs do not interfere with the spectators’ view of the game or with the

playing of the game. No balloons inside the facility.
* Artificial Noisemakers. The use of artificial noisemakers is prohibited. (Examples: air horns, whistles, bells, Thunder Sticks, etc.) Mega- phones are to be used by cheerleaders only. Band instruments, including drums, are not to be played at any time other than when the entire band is playing.
