1. A limited number of Girls Basketball Shirts are available from Mr. Sterup. See him if you are interested.

2. Mathcounts will meet MONDAY instead of TUESDAY. Remember we are having breakfast at practice.

3. Spanish Club: please have your $3 dues to Hannah Mullally by today. If you do not have your dues by then, you will not participate in any Spanish Club activities.

4. 7th grade girls may check out for basketball Friday after school. Both checkouts will be in Coach Richardson’s room.

5. Juniors: Prom theme proposals are due today. We will vote on Prom theme and Prom servers before school on Tuesday, Dec 19. You must have paid $20 work deposit and other fees before you can vote. There will NOT be late voting.

6. If students would like to change their schedule, please see Mrs. Gaughen.

7. Seniors - please submit a quote for the yearbook to Ella by today. If they are not school appropriate, you will have to come up with another idea.

10. NBC Dance is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Hat & Mitten Donation Tree. Donate new OR gently-used hats, mittens, and gloves to the Christmas donation tree in Tiger Arena this week through Dec. 15 to benefit local families in need! Warm hands, warm hearts! Let’s show our community we care, Tigers!

The week is also filled with fun activities, including sports tournaments, canoeing, dancing, a get-acquainted party, and some free time to socialize and make new friends.     June of 2019. This experience is facilitated by EF Educational Tours and locally organized by Suzy Morgan (Kluthe). It is open to high school students and community members. Students younger than high school age are welcome if accompanied by a parent. An informational meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15th at North Bend Central High School in room A26 (Mrs. Kluthe’s room). Space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see Mrs. Kluthe if you’d like a brochure with a description of the itinerary.

  6. Juniors - We have concession stand for Homecoming. Everyone is busy, but we still need people to sign up for times to work. You can sign up for times to work such as set-up, 1st half, half-time, 2nd half & clean-up, etc. You can work off money you owe If you owe money for lack of plant sales, If you are busy, recruit a parent or sibling to help. Sign up sheets on in Mr. R Wright’s room or on Mrs. Gross-Rhode’s office door.

  7. Homecoming is coming! Next week is Homecoming week. Please plan to participate in our Spirit Week days, posted on all lockers! 2. Attention Summer and Fall Softball players. We will be having an open batting cage session every Wednesday morning this summer from 9a.m.to 10a.m. following weights. Stop by if you want to take some extra batting practice or if you have any area of your softball game that you to improve. This opportunity is open to any girl, regardless of age that wants to get better.

3. If you are interested in receiving your CNA certification through Methodist College this summer, classes will meet in Fremont beginning May 18th. Pick up a form in the office.

  1. Driver’s Ed Class will be June 19-23 from 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. in the Elementary. Cost is $250 (outside of the district cost will be $330). More information on the website and flyers can be picked up in the office. Deadline for sign up is June 14th.

  2. There will be a brief throwers meeting after school today in the gym.

  3. Tanner Wietfeld, Kendra Lorence, Elsa Rasmussen, Chase Ruzicka, Aaron Owen need to tell Mrs. Gross-Rhode where you want your extra Plant Sales earnings to go or the money will stay in the Prom account.

provided by Fremont Area Medical Center. This will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 6:00. The school provides transportation and the bus will depart at 5:15.

  1. 8th-11th Grade Students (Boys and Girls): Did you know a number of NCAA Division I, II and III schools offer FULL RIDE SCHOLARSHIPS to qualified school mascots? If you’re interested in being Turbo the Tiger next year, there’s a sign up sheet out side Coach Wright’s classroom (A17) and we’ll have an informational meeting by the end of the week. We’ll be bringing in a 3-time NCAA All-American mascot for a mascot camp this summer to prep for Football season! Anyone interested, be sure to get your name on the list!

  2. Cross Country Meeting Monday 7:43 in Mr. Ziettlow’s Room. If you can’t make the meeting and are interested in joining in on the fun next fall, see Mr. Ziettlow.

  2. 8th-11th Grade Students (Boys and Girls): Did you know a number of NCAA Division I, II and III schools offer FULL RIDE SCHOLARSHIPS to qualified school mascots? If you’re interested in being Turbo the Tiger next year, there’s a sign up sheet out side Coach Wright’s classroom (A17) and we’ll have an informational meeting by the end of the week. We’ll be bringing in a 3-time NCAA All-American mascot for a mascot camp this summer to prep for Football season! Anyone interested, be sure to get your name on the list!

11. Thanks to all the students and staff that helped with day one of the Plant Sale. Sophomores who are not in track...we need help from 5:30 - 6:30 to clean up gym. If Mr. Wright and Mrs. Gross-Rhode don’t have at least 6 people to help clean up, we will make a sizable contribution from your profits to a local charity. There is a lot more to a successful plant sale than just selling plants.

11. MayFest is Monday, May 1. One of the main attractions is the Nebraska National Guard Inflatable Obstacle Course. In order to participate on the course, you need a form signed by your parents filled out and turned in to the school. You can get this done ahead of time by getting a form in the office and turning it in to the office prior to Monday. This will save you time waiting in line.

Tickets to run the course are 2 for $1 and will be sold that night.

12. All independent study band students need to get, fill out and return their Band lettering points sheet to Mr. K. by this Friday.

13. Mr. Sterup is looking for kids to help set up and tear down the obstacle course and other games before MayFest on Monday. Kids who help will be allowed to run the obstacle course for free. If you are interested, see Mr. Sterup or Jill in the office. You will need be there around 5:30 for set up and at 8:00 for teardown.

11. MayFest is Monday, May 1. One of the main attractions is the Nebraska National Guard Inflatable Obstacle Course. In order to

participate on the course, you need a form signed by your parents filled out and turned in to the school. You can get this done

ahead of time by getting a form in the office and turning it in to the office prior to Monday. This will save you time waiting in line. Tickets to run the course are 2 for $1 and will be sold that night.

12. All independent study band students need to get, fill out and return their Band lettering points sheet to Mr. K. by this Friday.
13. Mr. Sterup is looking for kids to help set up and tear down the obstacle course and other games before MayFest on Monday. Kids

who help will be allowed to run the obstacle course for free. If you are interested, see Mr. Sterup or Jill in the office. You will need

be there around 5:30 for set up and at 8:00 for teardown.

  1. We need sophomores to sign up to work at the Plant Sale next Wednesday and Thursday. We have $15,000 in plants sold that will be picked up in 2 days. If you were a big seller and you have some money going to another account you must work a shift or your money will stay with the Prom account. I you didn’t reach the $150 sales goal, you can work at the Plant Sale to reduce the amount you will owe or next year’s Prom. The sign-up sheet in on Mrs. Gross-Rhode’s door. Some have already signed up. Check the list to see if you are one of them.

  2. Library books are due back into the library May 3 so we can begin to inventory books before seniors’ last day. All students can keep one book so you have something to read, but if you have multiple books checked out please get the extras turned in.

  3. Mandatory meeting for those going on the Zoo Safari Trip with the Science Club on Tuesday May 2nd at 7:45 am. We will talk about expectations and what you will need to bring. Please be on time so that we can cover everything.
