|Contact Me||My name is Mrs. Paula Stormberg, many people call me "Stormy." I'm happy to be starting my 14th year of teaching at North Bend Central. This is my third year of teaching MIDDLE SCHOOL!!! I'm VERY excited about teaching SCIENCE, READING, and all you crazy NBC Middle School Students!
I graduated from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and received my K-8 Teaching Certification. I've also earned endorsements in Early Childhood and English as a Second Language (ESL). I'm currently working on my Masters in Special Education, with certification in teaching Emotional and Behavioral Disorders. I love being a student, and I hope to share that enthusiasm with YOU!
I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies! Some of my favorites include: Spending time with my family, singing (mostly in the car), biking, going to movies, football, wrestling, volleyball, and reading.
Although we have an integrated science curriculum that includes Physical/Life/ Earth-Space Sciences, my favorite science to study and teach is life science. We will learn about different types of organisms, and how they interact together and survive. Middle school students will study genetics and hereditary, including DNA.
